Lolz: Full App Design and Development


Lolz is an Ionic Hybrid Android Application designed and developed independently.

Lolz is a funny picture sharing application. You can browse the collection, save your favorites, share with friends, and upload your own funny pictures.

This entire project was done independently. Using Ionic and the MEAN stack, I built an Android hybrid application. A lot of the modern Android UI components are not yet supported by Ionic so I created them from scratch. The AngularJS interfaces with REST API's built with MongoDB, Express, and NodeJS. The API's are hosted with Heroku and the images hosted with Amazon S3.

My visual/UI design capabilities are seen through out this application. I strived to design a fun and intuitive experience.
